Casual Tea ceremony

I enjoyed casual tea ceremony today. In the official tea ceremony, only tools dedicated to tea ceremony are used and there are so many rules you should obey, which makes hard for normal people to heartedly enjoy the teaceremony. In today's casual tea ceremony, some of the tools were taken from daily commodity and some of the rules were omitted. Many people including foreigners enjoyed tea ceremony in a relaxed manner. 

今日はちょっとカジュアルなお茶会に行ってきました。
水差しの容器が奇麗なガラスだったり、釜は簡易な電磁調理器とお鍋で代用したものだったりと、日常で使うものが使用されていました。

まったく始めの方や外国人の方もいらっしゃいましたが、
お茶を気軽に楽しめる雰囲気がとても心地よかったです♪
伝統を守ることも大切ですが、時代に合わせて変化させていくことも大切ですね。
