２０１５年2月１９日〜３月５日：雨水（うすい）

雨水は、降ってくるものが雪から雨に変わり、雪解けが始まる頃。
動植物が春に向けて目覚め始めるころでもあるため、
農耕の準備を始める時期ともされていました。

「雨水」が含まれる暦月が旧暦においては「正月」であったとか。
現在の正月がまだ寒さが増す時期にあたりますが、
旧暦の正月は、春の兆しを感じることができるのですね。
今は年賀状で「迎春」と書いても、いまいちピンときませんが、
この時期でしたら納得がいきます。

February 19th ~ 5th March：Usui (More rain than snow)

From this time, it starts to rain, not snow.
Also, plants and animals come to awaken for the coming spring,
and it had been an indication of preparing for agriculture for the people of former days.

雨水　初項
土脉潤起（つちのしょううるおいおこる）
雨が降って土が湿り気を含む

降っていた雪が雨に変わり、雪で凍っていた土が雨で溶け、湿り気を帯びてくる頃という意味。土の中では、動植物が春に向かって動き始めるころ。
普段意識しない土の中では、春への準備が始まっていると思うと何となく嬉しくなります。
春は土の中から始まっているのですね。
