Wall Scroll 掛け軸

This hand-made hanging scroll was made by my mom. Using green Japanese paper, two wooden sticks and a postcard, you can made it very easily.

Wall scroll originally displays Chinese calligraphy and paintings. You can often find it in a tea house.

Just a postcard looks nice with hanging scroll. Small ideas helps you to enjoy Japanese culture.

これは母親が作った手作りの掛け軸です。うぐいす色の和紙、２本の木の棒とポストカードだけで簡単に作ったものです。

本来の掛け軸は書道作品や墨絵を飾るもので、茶室でよく飾られていますが、ポストカードを掛け軸風に飾るのもいいですね。
